Greg Chang

Creator / Founder of SuperChefs of the Universe

Greg Chang is a writer, trained chef, clown and dentist. 

He has studied Executive Producing for film and television at Capilano College, B.C., writing with the British Screenwriting Institute and cooking at the Dubrulle International Culinary and Hotel Institute of Canada and Northwest Culinary Institute in Vancouver, Darina Allen's Ballymaloe Cookery School in Cork, Ireland, and Culinary Institute of America in New York. He has also attended Antic Workshops at Celebration Barn Theatre in Maine, USA , produced children's shows in schools promoting cooking and healthy living, and is the team dentist for the Canadian Football League's British Columbia Lions Football Club. 

As a dentist he knows the importance of a healthy diet and lifestyle to maintain good physical and emotional health in children, as pediatrics is a large component of his practice. His experience with cooking, entertaining and treating children inspired him to write Superchefs of the Universe, which he hopes will help in the battle against Childhood Obesity.

Creative Director

Sharon Jacobs’ vision adds the creative touch to Voodoo’s projects.  With over 25 years experience as an Art Director/Designer in New York, she has designed children’s books for artists Tomie dePaola and Eric Carle at Penguin Putnam Books for Children and Bloomsbury USA in New York.

Writer 

Ian James, aka William Electric Black, has been a writer, director and producer for television, film and stage.  His numerous credits include 7 Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing in a Children’s Series (Sesame Street), and the National Education Video Award Bronze Apple for Directing (Solar Ram Jam) . He has written for Nickelodeon’s Allegra’s Window and Scholastic’s Magic School Bus as well as composing original music scores for Frankenstein: The Rock Musical, Doo-Wop Dracula, Romeo and Juliet and Tribal Rock Musical.
